Our commitment is to ensure compliance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). This policy outlines your rights and our procedures for returns and refunds.

Returns for Faulty or Defective Goods (Your Consumer Rights)

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a remedy if a product purchased from us is faulty, not of acceptable quality, does not match its description, or is unfit for its intended purpose.

  • Major Problem: If a product has a major problem, you are entitled to choose a refund or a replacement for the item. A major problem includes situations where the item is unsafe, significantly different from the sample or description, or doesn't do what we said it would and can't be easily fixed.

  • Minor Problem: If the problem with the product is minor and can be fixed, we may choose to repair the item, offer a replacement, or provide a refund.

To make a claim for a faulty or defective product, please contact us at admin@bauerandklein.com with your proof of purchase and details of the fault. We may require the item to be returned for assessment. If the item is confirmed to have a fault, we will cover the cost of reasonable return postage. Refunds will typically be processed using the original payment method .

Change of Mind Returns

Please choose carefully, as we are not obligated to provide a refund or replacement if you simply change your mind, found the item cheaper elsewhere, or decided you no longer like the purchase .

However, we may, at our discretion, consider a return for change of mind under the following strict conditions:

You contact us at admin@bauerandklein.com to request a return within 14 days of receiving your goods.

  • The goods were purchased within the last 14 days.

  • The goods are in their original, unopened, and undamaged packaging, with all tags attached, and in a resalable condition.

  • You provide proof of purchase .

For approved change of mind returns:

  • You are responsible for all costs associated with returning the goods to us, including shipping and handling charges. We recommend using an insured and trackable mail service, as we cannot be held responsible for goods damaged or lost in return shipment.

  • A refund or store credit will be processed no later than 30 days from the day on which we receive the returned goods in satisfactory condition. We reserve the right to determine the form of recompense (e.g., store credit instead of a cash refund) for change of mind returns.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable for change of mind returns.

Goods That Cannot Be Returned

The following goods generally cannot be returned, unless they are faulty or otherwise breach a consumer guarantee:

  • Goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized .

  • Goods which by their nature deteriorate rapidly or where the date of expiry is over.

  • Goods not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they have been unsealed after delivery.

  • Goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.

We reserve the right to refuse a return if the merchandise does not meet our return conditions, subject always to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law .

Returning Goods

If a return is approved, please send the goods to the address provided by us, which, unless otherwise stated, will be:

We are unable to issue a refund or process an exchange without actual receipt of the goods or proof of received return delivery.
